Our
Program for Toddlers
Discovering
and exploring the world around them are the toddler's main
interest. At ARC-EN-CIEL, we encourage their sense of discovery
by establishing a safe colorful environment and program that
includes a variety of materials and educational toys to help
them develop naturally, individually, and happily.
At this age, toddlers start expressing
their thoughts and building their character. Reading, singing,
dancing, water table play, climbing, cooking are experiences
that help the toddlers in their language skills and their
social life. They are also developing a sense of independence
that is important in fostering their social development. For
that purpose, we introduce self-directed activities that include
drawing, painting, and individual play to help them develop
their creativity.
Plenty of fun is the basis of
teaching the toddlers. Their development will be based on
their own curiosity and readiness. To help you follow this
important stage in your children's life, which is crossing
the bridge to preschool, we provide you with a daily report
which includes information about your child's activities,
care and progress.
Our Program for Preschoolers
Preschoolers thrive on new experiences.
To stimulate their developmental needs, our program offers
a variety of activities to help them build their self-confidence,
self-esteem, and promote their physical, emotional, intellectual,
and social growth.
To further expand their language
skills, they participate every day in a reading and storytelling
session. We also include activities such as music, singing
and art, to enhance their creative learning. They are also
involved in matching colors, balancing and counting blocks,
and recognizing letters while building a bridge to improve
their intellectual skills. Working together to build a neighborhood
in a sandbox, taking turns, sharing, will help them improve
their social.
Our caregivers will play a major
role in the children's development when you are away. They
will help your children explore their interests; develop their
talents and to behave with others. We reassure you that the
children will not be overwhelmed. They are learning through
fun play based on their own readiness and curiosity.
