Our Bilingual French Program
ARC-EN-CIEL Day Care Center and Montessori School School offers a daily French class for our infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Studies have proven that children learn best when they are engaged and are having fun. Our French class is based on this accepted research.
It has been proven that children who are exposed to different languages at a very early age develop early linguistic awareness that they carry through their lifetime. At ARC-EN-CIEL Day Care Center and Montessori School, we guarantee that your little ones will become bilingual by the age of fifteen months. Just like a sponge, children’s brains absorb languages, and once they are able to communicate verbally, they are speaking French.
Our French instructor, Mrs. Catherine Pagnier, has been teaching French to our students for over 10 years and is well-loved by all. Mrs. Pagnier holds an international diploma in Early Childhood Education from France. Her expertise is teaching French to youngsters as a second language. Her teaching philosophy is quite simple: make it fun and engage all the children. It is done through games, songs and visual movements. In addition, each classroom is staffed with French speaking teachers who carry the French throughout the daily curriculum.
